AI Mode
AI Mode is Google's search mode that replaces the classic list of results with an answer written by an AI, similar to what ChatGPT would produce. It may cite brands, compare them, recommend one — or cite none at all.
Unlike a classic search result, where your site can still appear even in tenth position, AI Mode only shows one synthesis: either your brand is in it, or it's absent from the conversation. There's no "page two" to catch up on.
