Share of citation among competitors

Share of citation among competitors measures, across the same set of questions asked to an AI, the proportion of citations that go to your brand compared to those going to your direct competitors.

This indicator answers a more useful question than "am I cited?": "am I cited as much, more, or less than my direct competitors?". A brand can have a rising citation frequency while still losing ground, if its competitors are progressing faster on the same questions.

It's a particularly telling indicator for an executive or marketing manager: it directly translates a competitive dynamic into a comparable figure, question after question, AI after AI.
